Please..don't waste your food!

Salam,
Today is the second day of Ramadhan.
.
.
In the morning, at about 10 a.m, I decided to go to Surau Annur near Dr Harun Din's house. Usually there is a kulliyah there for womanfolk at 9.30 am every Sunday.
I was half an hour late and the kulliyah was already started.
Ustaz Wan from SMAP gave the ceramah. It was about the Ramadhan, of coz, and I didn't 'senguk senguk' this time around. He had a funny way to explain thing and I enjoyed hearing his kulliyah. I probably would share some of the things that I got from the kulliyah with all of you in another entry.
But right now I have other thing to write about.
.
.
.
When I went to the market after the kulliyah, I found some combs of ripe bananas waiting to be bought at one of the stalls there. The bananas were tagged at two ringgit a bunch. So I asked the 'kakak' to give me one bunch. She asked me to buy all of them for just three ringgit. At first I couldn't take it but she begged me to take them all....
....because no one else want that bananas anymore.
Well, what the heck!
I could make something out them.
Maybe!!
.
.
.
.
and you know what I had done to those bananas?
.
.
.
LENGAT PISANG!
.
1) Peel the bananas skin and put them in a bowl
2) Pour half cup of sugar and mash them
3) Add half cup of coconut milk and a pinch of salt
4)Add one and half cup of flour. Mix well.
4) Pour in 12-inches baking pan and steam it!!
.
.
wolllaaa!!
A traditional Malay cake taught by my granny in-law.
Last night, before waking up for the sahoor, I cooked some Chicken Clear Soup.
The chicken was GONE into the tummies of the family, of coz.
But the stock was still abundant...
so
.
.
what did I do with the LEFT-OVER CHICKEN STOCK?
.
.
.
BUBUR LAMBUK..( porridge) of coz!
.
1) Clean one and half cup of rice.
2) Put the stock and the rice in the rice cooker.
3) Add small pieces of meat.
4)Add a stalk of lemongrass.
.
.
.
Finally, add little amount of coconut milk and a pinch of salt too.
PRETTY EASY, isn't it?

Well, I had a good customer waiting to taste my BUBUR LAMBUK in the afternoon!!
smile..

The end.

Bubur lambuk, my favourite..hehe. Kat bazar, susah nak jumpa bubur lambuk yg sodap. Kadang2 tu tawar. Kadang2 tu plak, terlebih rasa rempah. Hehehe.

Akak, rumah akak dekat2 area surau Annur tu ke? Sebab pernah beberapa kali lalu situ, nak gi Darul Syifa'

tersengguk-sengguk ketika mendengar tazkiran tu tandanya kita sangatlah faham. Tidakpun setuju dengan apa yang diperkatakan oleh penceramah.

Bubur lambuk kalau kena gaya memang tak pandang lauk lain ketika berbuka.
